Reverii is my faerie persona, fluttering about at festivals since 2008. It started as my part in a group I can only describe as a ren faire-ish fight club, and ended up being one of the pillars of my creativity. Even now I am still making flower crowns and trying to figure out what to do with a drawer full of glitter.
The biggest Reverii thing I've done is my Weekly Faerie series, a 7 year project spanning from 2014 to 2021. It's a challenge I made for myself; make a new "faerie" every week, which could be anything magical, mythical or cryptid. All of the ones I've done can be found on my Reverii facebook page, and many are on my Instagram. I wrapped it February 2021 to give me more time for some of the bigger projects I've always wanted to do. With the end of Weekly Faeries, I switched Reverii's general epithet from "Day Dream Faery" to "Faerie Witchling" because it suits the slightly darker aesthetic I have grown into. The other Reverii thing I get to do is the poster art and coloring pages for the Lafayette Festival of Faerie! |
